Nordonia fell in a thrilling, down-to-the-wire boys basketball game, coming up just short with an 81–80 loss. Despite the tough finish, the team showed strong effort and resilience throughout the matchup. The Knights will look to bounce back as look to review their loss against North Royalton.
Girls basketball also competed in an exciting contest, but unfortunately suffered a close 55–53 loss. The team battled hard until the final buzzer and will aim to turn those close moments into wins as they get ready for an upcoming matchup against North.
On the ice, Nordonia hockey delivered a strong performance, earning a win against Brooklyn. The Knights carried momentum throughout the game and will now shift their focus to an upcoming matchup against Cleveland Heights High School.
Wrestling action is also on the schedule, with both the girls and boys teams set to compete. The girls wrestling team will travel to Alliance High School, while the boys wrestling team heads to Strongsville High School. Both matches will take place on January 17th and are great opportunities for the teams to showcase their hard work and determination.
