City of Macedonia Police Reports: Firearm Turned In, Verbal Domestic Dispute, Employee Trespassing/Warrant Arrest

Firearm Turned In: At 12:58 p.m., police responded to the Macedonia station regarding a reported firearm. An individual met with officers and explained they wanted to dispose of a relative’s firearm due to having younger children in the house. Upon further investigation, the item was identified as a Glock 19 replica pellet gun, which was subsequently stored in evidence. 
Theft Arrest at Walmart: Officers responded to Walmart. to investigate a series of thefts reported by a store associate. Loss prevention staff provided pictures and video documenting three separate instances of theft involving one individual. In one instance, the individual tag-switched a pack of shirts totaling $23.48 for a $1.00 item, passing all points of sale without paying. In another instance, the individual had taken a soda and six pieces of bone-in wings valued at $9.25. After reviewing the information, officers placed the individual under arrest for Theft (M-1) and transferred them to Macedonia’s jail.

Verbal Domestic Dispute: At approximately 6:14 p.m., officers were dispatched to a residence on Whispering Woods Dr. for a domestic dispute. Officers separated a male and female who were observed yelling at each other and confirmed they have been going through a divorce for about eight months. The disagreement was verbal and centered on the male’s business. The female stated the male started yelling, cursing, and called her a “b*tch”. The female confirmed a Mutual Restraining Order was in place, which stated neither party shall engage in abusing, threatening, or annoying the other party. However, since both parties engaged in the verbal disagreement and neither made physical threats, officers determined no violation of the restraining order had occurred, and no charges were filed. The male eventually left the residence.

Telecommunications Harassment Report: An individual met with an officer at the station to take a report of telecommunications harassment. The individual reported that their ex-spouse has been repeatedly messaging them through text and social media, despite being told to stop and violating a no-contact stipulation in their dissolution agreement, which was finalized in August. The complainant did not want officers to contact the ex-spouse at that time but was advised to block them from accounts and to call the police if they felt threatened.

Employee Trespassing/Warrant Arrest: Officers responded to Design Molded Plastics regarding an employee who was refusing to leave the premises. Employees reported that the employee became argumentative and combative after being advised by a supervisor to clock out and leave. The employee started to walk out but threw parts and boxes around the shop and tried to get back into the building. An officer located the employee walking eastbound on Bavaria. The employee was trespassed from the Design Molded Plastics property and was taken into custody after a check revealed an outstanding warrant out of Mayfield Village Police.

Mutual Disorderly Conduct at Auto Zone: Officers were dispatched to Auto Zone for a disturbance at approximately 7:28 p.m. Two individuals were engaged in a mutual verbal altercation. One individual stated the other was knocking things out of his hands and broke his sunglasses. The second individual claimed the first was being impatient and wouldn’t wait for his turn in line. Witnesses confirmed it was a mutual argument. Both individuals were advised on disorderly conduct, and they separated without further police action.

Theft from Unlocked Vehicle and Credit Card Misuse: An individual reported that between 9:00 p.m. on 10/5/25 and 6:30 a.m. on 10/6/25, someone entered their unlocked vehicle parked near their residence on Hollow Wood Dr. The owner reported their wallet had been gone through, and $15 cash was missing, along with a credit card. The missing card was used for a charge of $24.02 at Speedway. The owner was able to recover the card after it was turned into an attendant at the gas station.
Domestic Incident Involving Self-Harm Threat: At 10:37 p.m., Macedonia units responded to a residence on Roseland Dr. for a domestic violence call. A husband and wife were arguing over communication issues. The husband stated he threw and broke a plastic colander, then grabbed a knife, held it to his face, and threatened to cut himself to change the subject. He sustained a small, minor cut on his left shoulder. The wife confirmed the husband had not hit her and denied feeling threatened, stating she was more concerned about his mental health. Their daughter heard screaming and the crash. The husband, who cited stress related to family decisions, declined medical treatment and advised he would seek marriage counseling. Due to the lack of threats or physical harm toward family members, no charges were filed.

Death Investigation (No Foul Play Suspected): Macedonia units responded to 1146 Saybrook Dr. at 9:30 p.m. for a report of an unconscious male who was not breathing. The male was found by a family member in an upstairs bathroom. MFD performed chest compressions but was unable to revive him, and he was pronounced deceased at 10:01 p.m. The deceased had a history of heart problems, high blood pressure, and stage 3 melanoma cancer. The body was released to the family, and no foul play is suspected.
