Summit County Executive Ilene Shapiro, in partnership with the Impact Summit County Reentry Collaborative and other community organizations, is sponsoring a reentry resource fair on Wednesday, November 13 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at The Remedy Church in Akron.
The event will connect Justice-Impacted individuals with critical resources like employment readiness and placement, addiction recovery services, veteran services, vocational programs, housing services and more. Individuals seeking employment should bring a resume and be prepared to meet with prospective employers. No RSVP is required.
Participants also have the chance to win an eclectic bicycle donated by Blimp City Bike & Hike.
METRO RTA will provide free rides to the event; participants should show the bus operator the event flyer.
