DECEMBER NORDONIA HILLS – 2018 NEW YEAR’S EVE CELEBRATION TICKET GIVEAWAY

Promotional Period & Eligibility:

1. Nordonia Hills News will conduct “December Nordonia Hills – 2018 New Year’s Eve Celebration Ticket Giveaway” from 1:00 PM on December 11, 2017 until 11:59 PM on December 24, 2017. Winners will be selected at approximately 3:00 PM on December 26, 2017.
2. Must be 21 years of age or older to enter.
3. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram notices, as well as email may be used to notify potential contest participants.
4. Participants must visit nordoniahills.news during the Promotion Period to submit their first/last name, email address and birthdate on the contest form.
5. One (1) winner will be chosen using a random number generator as the winner.

Prizes & Complimentaries:

1. There will be one (1) winner. The prize includes two (2) tickets to Hard Rock Rocksino’s 2018 New Year’s Eve Celebration event at Hard Rock Live on December 31, 2017. The winning entrants are not entitled to the difference, if any, between the stated and the actual Prize value. To participate in the contest and win the Prize, entrant and guest each must be 21 years of age or older and each have a valid photo identification.

General Rules:   

1. All times referred to in Eastern Standard Time (EST).
2. Must be 21 years of age or older to enter.
3. No purchase or payment necessary to enter or win this contest. A purchase will not improve chances of winning.
4. A valid government issued photo ID is required (unless otherwise stated) to verify age, identity and claim all prizes.
5. Persons on the Hard Rock Rocksino Self Exclusion List are not eligible to participate in this program.
6. Employees of Hard Rock Rocksino Northfield Park and their families (family members that live with the Team Member), employees of vendors permanently assigned to work at Hard Rock Rocksino Northfield Park and their family (family members that live with the Vendor), tour operators, their agents and employees, agents of advertising agencies and promotional companies and their immediate family members, as well as agents, successors and assignees may not participate in any Rocksino promotion whereby their winning would subsequently cause another Hard Rock Rocksino Players Club member to miss an opportunity to win a promotional prize or gift.
7. Any person who has won a prize (or whose household has won a prize) in any promotion sponsored by Sponsor in the thirty (30) days prior to this contest start date is not eligible to win a prize in this contest.
8. All prizes are not transferable between patrons unless otherwise noted. Determination will be made at the sole discretion of Hard Rock Rocksino Northfield Park.
9. Hard Rock Rocksino may disqualify any person based upon fraud, dishonesty, and/or any violation of program rules or other misconduct.
10. Except where prohibited by law or regulation, by participating in this Promotion, entrants grants Sponsor a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use his/her name, character, photograph, winning video, voice, and likeness in connection with the promotion of this and other Promotions, and entrants waive any and all claims and/or rights to receive any royalties or other compensation for Sponsor’s use thereof, unless prohibited by law.
11. Entrants agree that Sponsor may disclose to third parties all personal information obtained from entrants and use such information for marketing and other purposes. By entering this contest entrants agree that they are opting in to receive marketing content via email from Hard Rock Rocksino Northfield Park and its partners/affiliates.
12. Entry in the Promotion constitutes consent to transfer personal information collected from the entrant to the Sponsor for the purposes of administering the Promotion and for such other purposes to which entrant may consent as outlined herein or on the Website. More specifically, Sponsor may collect information that you provide to enter the Promotion and will use personal information you provide to enter the Promotion to actually conduct the Promotion. All information submitted to the Sponsor as part of this Promotion will be treated in accordance with the Sponsor’s privacy policy, available at http://www.hrrnp.com. Sponsor will provide the personal information you provide to enter this Promotion to third party fulfillment companies only to process and deliver prizes to winners.
13. Hard Rock Rocksino Northfield Park may disqualify any person for any prize based upon fraud or violation of promotional rules or other misconduct related to the promotion or otherwise.
14. Hard Rock Rocksino Northfield Park reserves the right to award bonus entries via advertising, direct mail or other promotional means.
15. Any dispute or situation not covered by the above rules will be resolved by Hard Rock Rocksino Northfield Park management in a manner deemed by them to be the fairest to all concerned and that the decision shall be final and binding to all contestants.
16. Hard Rock Rocksino Northfield Park Management reserves the right to void any entry, and/ or alter, cancel or modify this promotion at any time without prior notice to customers.
17. Hard Rock Rocksino Northfield Park Management cannot alter, cancel, or modify this promotion without approval from the Ohio Lottery Commission.
18. Hard Rock Rocksino Northfield Park is not responsible for any player tracking system malfunctions or failures. However, in the event of such an occurrence, Hard Rock Rocksino will provide entries for VLT players in a manner deemed fairest by management.
19. If unforeseen and unavoidable technical difficulties occur such as power outages, kiosk malfunctions, etc., Hard Rock Rocksino Northfield Park reserves the right to select winners through an alternate random method or reschedule the drawing to the next available time or date.
20. By participating in the Promotion, members agree to waive any right to claim any ambiguity or error in these Official Rules, or the Promotion itself, and agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by all decisions of the Hard Rock Rocksino Northfield Park, whose decisions are binding and final. Winners may be required to complete a W-9 and/or Press Release. Participants agree to hold harmless the Hard Rock Rocksino Northfield Park from any and all liability for any injury, loss, or damage of any kind to person, including death, and property, arising in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the prize, participation in any drawing related activity, or participation in a drawing. Hard Rock Rocksino Northfield Park is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by their advertising or promotional agencies.
21. 22. NO PRIZE TRANSFER OR SUBSTITUTION. No Prize or any portion thereof is transferable or redeemable for cash. Any portion of the Prize that is not used is forfeited.  No substitutions for the Prize will be available.
23. All federal, state and/or local income and other taxes, if any, are the winner’s sole responsibility.
24. This Promotion is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited by law. Issues concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules shall be governed by the laws of the State of Ohio.  All disputes arising out of or connected with this Promotion will be resolved individually, and without resort to class action, exclusively by a state or federal court located in Northfield Park, Ohio.  Should there be a conflict between the laws of the State of Ohio and any other laws, the conflict will be resolved in favor of the laws of the State of Ohio.  All judgments or awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket damages (excluding attorneys’ fees) associated with participation in this Promotion and shall not include any indirect, punitive, incidental and/or consequential damages.
