The Summit County Department of Sanitary Sewer Services (DSSS) is aware that some customers, primarily those in Stow, Hudson and Akron, recently received a bill with an incorrect due date or a bill for the first time in several months. If a customer received a bill with a due date of July 19, the correct due date is August 19. Customers set-up for automatic withdrawal will see a payment withdrawn on July 19.
DSSS apologizes for any inconvenience this issue may have caused. Over the past several months, the department has been implementing new utility billing software to replace a nearly twenty-year old system.
