As the weather chills, you should begin cleaning out your barn. You should remove all bedding and stall mats and use a power washer to clean from top to bottom. You should wash all feeders, waterers, and stalls to prevent bacteria and viruses from living. Also, check your bar doors, windows, and other areas that may cause drafts so that you can repair them.

Go out and check on your babies with a couple of bundles of clothing and a cup of hot coffee or tea.
