Fall Season: Girls Cross Country: Nordonia Ladies Takes 4th at Cleveland Metro Parks

The Nordonia Girls Cross Country team participated in the Comet Cross Country Invitational hosted by Solon High School on Saturday. They accumulated 92 points, surpassing the host team, Solon, which scored 101 points. 

The Shaker Heights team secured the top spot with an impressive 23 points, while the Mas. Jackson team came in second with a total of 58 points. Emerson Beery led the Nordonia Girls Cross Country Team with an individual score of 6 points, ranking 7th. 

Following closely was Olivia May with 23 points, securing the 11th rank. Sofia Bonanno claimed the 21st spot with 20 points, contributing as the team’s third member. Ella Bonanno took the 29th place, and Olivia Pecic secured the 33rd position.

UP NEXT: On September 2nd, the Nordonia Girls Cross Country team will travel to Lorain County Community College for the Avon Lake Invitational. The event will begin at 9 a.m.
