On Monday afternoon, September 25th, both the Nordonia Boys and Girls Golf Teams combined to participate in the Brunswick Co-Ed Invitational, which took place at Fox Meadows Country Club.
This tournament marked Brunswick’s inaugural coed event. Regrettably, the Nordonia boys golfers posted a team score of 366, placing them at the bottom of the rankings among the 10 competing schools.
The St. Ignatius Wildcats secured the top position with an impressive total score of 309. Close behind were the Rocky River Pirates, who recorded a score of 310, earning them 2nd place.
An outstanding performance by Zach Butcher, who shot -1 under par for the day, led the Highland Hornets to a 3rd place finish in the Fox Meadow Coed Classic. Other noteworthy scores for Highland included Luke Butcher with 78, Nathan Sprutte with 80, and Ryan Przybysz with 82.
