Fall Season: Nordonia Boys Varsity Golf Team Competes in Suburban League

The second Suburban League tournament got underway on the 24th of August around 9 a.m.It was held at the Pleasant Valley Golf Course in Medina. The Nordonia Knights had great competition, ranking 5th out of 8 teams in the National Conference Suburban tournament with a total shot of 348. This second event had Ryan Mallis leading the team as their low shot scorer with a shot of 84, closely followed by Drew Kitzmiller.

The medalist of the tournament was Sam Fauver from Hudson, who clinched the title with a score of 68. Other notable medalists include Ben Fauver from Hudson with a score of 76 and Charlie Wilson from North Royalton with a score of 78. Husdon’s boys golf team captured first place in the National Conference Suburban League with a team total shot of 312. Brecksville came in 2nd with a team shot of 321 and North Royalton finished 3rd with 332.

The Highland Boys Varsity Golf Team shines out strong in the American Conference competition, coming in first.
