The Nordonia Lady Knights Golf Team took on the Hudson Lady Explorers in a 9-hole match at the Country Club of Hudson. Unfortunately, the Nordonia Girls came up short by 7 strokes, with a final score of 164 for Hudson and 171 for Nordonia.
Senior Brooke led the Lady Knights with an impressive score of 38, delivering the team’s best performance of the day. Other notable scorers for the Nordonia Golf Girls included junior Julia Gulla, sophomore Natalie Barnes, sophomore Carley Sutton, Chelsey, and Maddie, all contributing to a total score of 133. It’s worth noting that sophomore Chelsey Wolf made her Varsity debut and recorded a score of 51, while sophomore Maddie Eisner finished with an individual score of 57.
Junior Emmy Burling played exceptionally well, shooting a 37, and earned the match medalist title, leading the Hudson Girls Golf Team to victory. Elena Varga (FR) and Sherry Du (SR) both shot 41 for the Lady Explorers. Additionally, Julia Van Bokkelen (JR) and Mckenna each recorded scores of 45, with Ellie Davis (SR) posting an individual score of 47.
