The Suburban League Tournament’s climactic showdown unfolded on September 27th at Brookledge Golf Course in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.
The Nordonia Lady Knights participated and secured a commendable 3rd place finish with an overall team score of 352. Leading the charge was the impressive and in-form junior, Julia Gulla, who shot a 78, tying for medalist honors.
Brooke Barnes also put in a strong performance, sharing second place with a score of 82. Completing the day’s lineup were Natalie Barnes with a 94 and Carley Sutton with a 98.
The National Conference Tournament crowned the Stow BullBogs as champions. Notable medalists from the National Conference included Julia Gulla from Nordonia, Serena Wu from Solon, and Gabrielle Berlingeri from Stow.
Julia Gulla of the Nordonia Lady Knights received the prestigious Suburban League National Conference Player of the Year award, a remarkable achievement she has now claimed for two consecutive years.
Additionally, Natalie Barnes earned recognition by making the Suburban League 2nd Team All-League this season, demonstrating her outstanding performance. Special recognition also goes to Brooke Barnes, who secured 2nd place at the final Suburban tournament with a score of 82 and earned 1st Team All-League honors for the season.
