Fall Season: Nordonia Knights Exercise Complete Dominance Over Bedford

The Nordonia High School football team had a strong start to the fall season. They played their first non-conference game against Bedford.

 

In the first quarter, Riley Edgehouse gave Nordonia an early lead with a 25-yard field goal. He added another 20-yard field goal with three minutes left, ending the quarter with Nordonia leading 6-0.

 

Bedford tied the game in the second quarter with a 25-yard touchdown pass from Bennie Goggans to Braylon McClain. However, Nordonia regained the lead with a rushing touchdown from one yard out and added an extra point, finishing the quarter ahead 13-6.

 

In the third quarter, Nordonia’s wide receiver Samuel Collins caught a touchdown pass, and with five minutes left, they scored another 26-yard rushing touchdown, bringing the score to 14-0 for the quarter.

 

Bedford struggled in the fourth quarter as Nordonia continued to dominate. Ben Chesser threw a touchdown pass to Liam Kountz and later completed a 30-yard rushing touchdown. The game ended with Nordonia winning 41-6.
