The Knights had a fantastic day of golf at the Suburban League competition, enjoying a beautiful afternoon at the Fox Den Golf Course. The Lady Knights put up an impressive team effort, accumulating a total score of 332. Junior Julia Gulla led the team with a score of 73, closely followed by Brooke with a score of 75. Natalie contributed an 88 to the team’s total, and Maddie Eisner rounded it off with an individual score of 96.
Junior Julia earned the prestigious title of National Conference Medalist after her outstanding performance, shooting a 73 at the Suburban Tournament. Senior Brooke Barnes and sophomore Maddie Eisner achieved personal records at the Suburban Tournament with scores of 75 and 96, respectively. Notably, Maddie Eisner also recorded her first-ever eagle.
The Wadsworth Varsity Girls Golf team secured 6th place at the Suburban League competition. Additionally, Julia Gulla received iHeart Radio’s Unsung High School Athlete of the Week award, a well-deserved recognition for her achievements, sponsored by the Ohio Floor Company.
