The Nordonia Girls Volleyball team is pumped up for the season ahead and has been having great bonding sessions. The experienced coach, Rocco, has prioritized establishing a team that fights for each other and togetherness as his key approach to establishing a winning culture. The Knights Volleyball Team just had a picture day that announced their preparedness for the 2023 season.
The Knights team pictures were posted on the official Twitter page as the girls took a group shot with Covelli`s coaching staff. The team picture featured both the Varsity and Junior Varsity.
The Volleyball Girls team has a last-year record of 3-20, in which significant improvement is a major part of the team’s goals. The girls had two great Scrimmage events against the Shakers and Woodridge, showing their zeal to keep improving. The team has also been fueling up at the canes, which is a strategic approach by the coach to keep the team united and focused.
Coach Rocco Covelli, regarding the team goal strategy for the season, which is set to kick off soon, said this:
“If we can just continue to grow as a team, then our win total will grow as well, and we will be a very tough team to beat.”
Up Next: The Knights Volleyball Team will be having their next Scrimmage against CVCA. This event will be on August 15th at 5:00 p.m. in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.
