The Lady Knights of Nordonia High School displayed their golf prowess once again at the 2nd Suburban League Tournament, hosted at the scenic Pleasant Valley Golf Club. Their exceptional teamwork and skill earned them a well-deserved 2nd place, as they posted an impressive score of 347.
For the team, no one was more impressive than Brooke Barnes, who led the way with a 78. Next up was Julia Gulla, whose 79 reflected her steady and expert play. An 86 from Natalie Barnes bolstered the squad’s already impressive showing. Scores of 104 were achieved by Carley Sutton, 106 by Maddie Eisner, and 115 by Lauren Torain.

Nordonia Girls JV Golf Team Loses to Solon by a Narrow Margin
The Nordonia girls JV golf team had a tough match on Thursday, facing the Solon Lady Comets at Grantwood Golf Course. The match started at 3:15 p.m.The competition was fierce, and both teams displayed their golfing prowess throughout the day. Ultimately, the Solon Lady Comets secured a narrow victory, edging out our Lady Knights by a mere two strokes. The final scores stood at 223 for Solon and 225 for Nordonia.
For their outstanding effort and performance, the Lady Knights JV team deserves a thunderous ovation. They played with great sportsmanship, cooperation, and talent. Their continued hard work and dedication will surely pay off as they advance in their golfing careers. Both the Nordonia Lady Knights JV and the Solon Lady Comets deservedly earned accolades for their outstanding performances.
