- As of September 13, 2016 NVFD responded to a total of 589 incidents. We responded to a total of 777 incidents in 2015, which was a 17% increase of 2014 and a 55% increase since 2013. 469 of those incidents were EMS related and 115 incidents were FIRE related. We ended August 2016 with102 incidents, our busiest month ever as a department.
- NVFD has provided mutual aid for 63 incidents, provided automatic aid 35 times, and received mutual aid for 21 incidents and automatic aid for 1 Incidents. (Total MA received in 2013 was 13, 2014 was 15, 2015 was 22 )
- NVFD’s average response time from time of call till time on scene is 3:43
- As mutual and automatic aid has increased, our overall response time has been increased on average
Fire Inspector / Prevention Report (As of September 13, 2016)
- 30 Annual Fire Inspections have been completed
- 17 Hood/Duct/Alarm/Sprinkler Tests have been completed

Department News
- Firefighter Commendations – Lt Chris Hrach, FF Courtney Root, FF Joe Hongosh, Lt Tim Cingel, and FF Paul Wojtkiewicz all are be recognized this evening four outstanding emergency medical care.
- Replacement Ambulance – Delivery Expected in late October, 2016
- Staffing – With the hires this evening, the total staff on NVFD now is 44 members. This consists of one (1) part time Chief, three (3) fulltime firefighter paramedics, 28 regular part time firefighters, five (5) Emergency Medical Technicians (Race Track Staff), and seven (7) members on leaves of absence. While I can anticipate a continued flux in staffing due to members achieve full time status at surrounding fire departments, I am hoping our newest hires will over all stabilize our staffing situation.
- Hard Rock Rocksino & NVRC Stats – NVFD responded to 79 medical / 2 fire incidents at the Hard Rock and 49 medical / 1 fire incidents at NVRC Since January 1, 2016.
