By DJ Resch

We’ve all been to Fun n Stuff, right? The concession food, go karts, bungee jumping, roller skating, rock wall climbing, mini golf, and so much more has been enjoyed by thousands over the years. If you haven’t been to Fun ‘n’ Stuff recently, the location has undergone major renovations that may grab your attention once again. An adult lounge bar was recently added upstairs for parents to enjoy while the kids have fun. There is something for everyone!

An interview with the general manager, Bob Switalski, sheds some light on the past, present, and future of Fun ‘n’ Stuff. The one and only Fun ‘n’ Stuff was founded in 1988 by Ray Atwell and Denny Kay who are retired but still the owners to this day. The company rakes in an impressive 250,000+ visitors annually and in a single day, the total arcade tickets turned in to collect prizes is over 100,000.

A lot has changed to Fun ‘n’ Stuff since its opening in the 80s, including the additions of the roller rink, indoor bumper cars, rock wall climbing, a new mini-golf course, and an upgrade to the existing laser tag arena which is now 6,000 square feet with two teams: Aliens vs Zombies. Most, if not all, of the original arcade games that were available when Fun ‘n’ Stuff opened, have been removed and replaced with newer arcade cabinets. As for the future, the amusement facility is looking to expand its menu, mostly with healthier choices, and possibly add new attractions. Stay tuned for more details.

Some celebrities have also made stops to Fun ‘n’ Stuff including Brad Paisley and the Band Perry who stopped by Fun ‘n’ Stuff a few years ago after a concert. Lebron James’ has hosted his children’s birthday parties at Fun ‘n’ Stuff as well.
