The Nordonia Hills Garden Club will welcome Dr. Anne Farley Schoeffler as its featured speaker at the October meeting Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at the Macedonia City Center.
Schoeffler, who holds four degrees including a Master of Science in Science Education, will present “Great Lakes Literacy Begins with our Local Watershed.” The presentation will examine how local water systems connect to the broader Great Lakes ecosystem.
The garden club meets on the third Wednesday of each month at the Macedonia City Center, located at 1484 East Aurora Road on the ground floor. The meetings are open to gardeners and aspiring gardeners.
