Description: Join us for unique, personal accounts of the events from April 30-May 4, 1970, that give fresh perspectives to the tragic shootings at Kent State on May 4. The program will begin with an overview of events that led up to the Ohio National Guard firing on students protesting the Vietnam War, resulting in the death of four students and the wounding of nine others, and the impact of May 4 on Kent State and the world. The main program will revolve around our panelists, Hank Penttila and Jud Kline, who will share their personal stories of how they were involved in or impacted by the events of May 4.
