Happy Anniversary to Us! Thank You From Julie D. (notes from my speech)

The party was a hit! And what made it a hit was the venue, the food and the people! We are already planning the 8th Anniversary party!

Thank You to Kevin O’Donnell and Tiffany at Ground Xero for opening up just for us! We can’t wait to hang out there once you are open next month!

Thank you to The San Diego Taco Factory for the delicious tacos brought back for a day!

I am extremely grateful for all of the love!

Thank you Laura Sparano and Melinda from So So Artsy! Could not have done it without you! Not many people know that Laura helped me lay out my very first newspaper!

Thank you to my Spiritual Adviser Mary Jane Brigger and Gary Miller, who was there day one when Nordonia Hills News started up!

Thank you to Bart Benjamin, Kurt and Mary Lou Laubinger and Chase Jones who were a part of our newspaper focus group!

Thank you to anyone that gave us a thumbs up, shared a post, retweeted a tweet, made a comment, watched Jabbering With Julie Show or picked up a newspaper.

I would like to thank all of the advertisers! Even the ones that advertised for just one month! Every dollar helped us get where we are today.

I would like to thank Tim Troglen and Nicole Rapp – our current writers!

I would like to thank Shane Romero and Darayus Sethna – they were part of our broadcast crew and the high school. They were two among many!

A community is only as strong as its people! And we need to work together.

That is why I created NordoniaHills.News – I did not see anyone online putting out the news online!

So instead of complaining about it! I did something about it! Well maybe I did complain some 🙂

We have four different communities here and no matter which one you live in, you need to know what the other ones are doing because we are all in the same school district. We are NORDONIA!

That is why we created this community video – we are the hidden treasure!

Song and Video by Nvasion Studios!

In fact, while you are on YouTube, Scroll back on our YouTube Channel. There are some surprises!

One last word: Go to community events, get involved, if you see something that is missing – make it happen!
