Fleet Response partners with local nonprofit for annual veteran honor ceremony
A Hudson business has created an eye-catching Memorial Day tribute that’s drawing praise from the local community this week.
Fleet Response installed more than 60 American flags across its headquarters lawn in partnership with the Northeast Ohio Foundation for Patriotism. The display is part of NEOPAT’s Operation Flags of Freedom program, which aims to honor military service members and veterans throughout the region.
Volunteers from NEOPAT handled the flag installation, with each banner serving as a tribute to those who have served in the armed forces. The company also placed flags representing all military branches at its main entrance.
Fleet Response President and CEO Allison Lanzilotta said the display carries deep meaning for the organization and its employees, many of whom are veterans or have military connections.
“Every flag is a story. A reminder of someone’s courage, someone’s sacrifice,” Lanzilotta said. “We’re proud to continue this tradition in partnership with NEOPAT, and we’re especially honored to celebrate the veterans within our own team.”
The patriotic display has resonated with Hudson residents who pass by the business daily. Jeff Fender, Fleet Response’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing, said community members have expressed appreciation for the visible tribute.
NEOPAT focuses on supporting military families and veterans across Northeast Ohio through various community initiatives and financial assistance programs. The nonprofit’s mission centers on promoting patriotism while providing practical support to those who have served.
The flag installation will remain in place through Memorial Day weekend.
