During your time with the Nordonia Knights you`ve undoubtedly developed a set of principles and a culture that have guided you. Could you share some of these principles that you plan to carry with you to college? “The principles that I plan to take with me to my next journey are tenacity and courage. During my time at Nordonia, these principles were taught to me as soon as I stepped in high school. From facing adversity during COVID my freshman year, to dealing with injuries really brought out the tenacity and courage that was needed for me to succeed.”
What made Central State University the right choice for you as you continue your football career and academic pursuits? “I Chose Central State because I am a legacy. You see everyone on my Grandfather side of the family including my Aunt Sandra who sadly passed away this past summer went to Central state and I want to continue that legacy not only on the football field but in the real world as well.”
“One of the last conversations with my Auntie were at Central states Homecoming and we walked past the football field and she said to me that she wants to see me play on that field and that is what I’m going to do.”
Finally, any words of advice or encouragement for your teammates who are also transitioning to college? “To my guys, next year you will be something special. Keep playing together and not by yourself football is not a selfish sport it’s selfless. As the season goes on the brotherhood bonds you build began and if you guys need help you know where to find me.”
