SAGAMORE HILLS, Ohio – A new statement from the Sagamore Hills Police Department provides additional details in an illegal massage parlor investigation connected to SASA Foot Spa on the 500 block of West Aurora Road, including the involvement of regional and federal partners and confirmation that the business has been permanently closed.

Police said a search warrant was executed at the business on Dec. 18, 2025, following an investigation into an alleged illegal massage parlor. The department reported the operation was conducted with assistance from the Summit County Regional Human Trafficking Task Force, the Summit County Sheriff’s Office and SWAT team, and the Department of Homeland Security.

Illegal Massage Parlor Investigation Cited in Closure

In the press release, police stated that a victim was identified and that another individual is awaiting further investigation. No additional details were released.

Police also said Sagamore Square Plaza management was notified of the alleged illegal activity and served the business with a termination of lease notice. The department said the business is now permanently closed.
