Our internet access went down today for a couple hours. It has been slowly getting worse. they came out right away. Our internet box was installed in 2009. So that might explain our problems. They said you should change your box every 2 years. While we had the guy here we decided to tell the guy to remove our cable tv and our internet phone.
We had been discussing getting rid of the tv cable stations and internet phone.
So today we did it! All we have now is Internet Wi-fi!
The reason we did this is because the way we watch tv shows and movies has changed.
There is no waiting for 9pm to watch a certain show. We use Netflix, and Amazon Prime to watch tv shows and movies.
If more than one person is watching the same thing in the same room we can Chromcast it to the tv.
One change we made is our Wi-fi box is now Spectrum! But that is all that we are using them for. Savings are more than $100 a month for us! Your savings may differ.
