Nordonia takes control early
The Nordonia Knights left no doubt Friday night at Solon. They scored 24 points in the first quarter and led 38 to 0 at halftime. Solon got on the board in the third quarter, but the Knights closed out a 44 to 14 victory.
Nordonia outgained the Comets 397 yards to 114. The Knights also held a 17 to 3 edge in first downs. The win was the third in a row for Nordonia and moved the Knights to 6 wins and 1 loss. Solon fell to 3 wins and 4 losses.
Fakult and Barwidi lead the passing attack
Quarterback Steven Fakult completed 11 of 17 passes for 219 yards and four touchdowns. He threw one interception and ran twice for 14 yards.
