After months of being closed (actually open and closed – open and closed – open and closed), the ledge road bridge is now open!
This is very big news because this road closure caused many traffic head aches for the local people and visitors.
In a way it divided the town. Many people on the east side could not access the businesses on the west side without going WAY out of their way. And visa versa!
There are still construction projects around town, and there for awhile it seemed that every main road had some section closed. But many are currently open. For example Shepard Rd south of rt 82 was closed and now is open. Just today Sioux lane opened as well!
It will be a long time until we have no barrels in the Nordonia Hills area. But at least Linda Biber and other good people on the east side can go to businesses on the west side like Peppers in Northfield Village!
