Simple Definition of slander: to make a false spoken statement that causes people to have a bad opinion of someone.
Dear Mr. Ventura
This letter serves as documentation of a pattern of offensive activities that began before and after the week of August 18, 2019 . This letter is notice to you that you must immediately cease and desist these activities against and towards me, including, but not limited to, the following:
Allegedly making Defamatory Statements about me to my Friends, Family and to the Nordonia Hills and surrounding Communities and trying to do substantial harm to my personal character and my professional reputation It has caused me severe emotional distress. You were heard repeating this story to Macedonia City Workers and Macedonia Councilmen. STOP Immediately! Allegedly, you continue to insist that I have “taken pictures of the Police and Service Departments “and use those photos to “disparage them ” You need to produce this proof Immediately! Good Luck -I have a Flip Phone !!- Do not use my name or tell Stories about me to anyone I know or don’t know!!! Never contact me or harass me or I will seek a protection order! I am a Private Citizen – not a Candidate or Public Official. You took an Oath of Office as a Council Person and as a Police Officer! I am making this a Public Record so everyone is aware your Defamatory Accusations are False! I contacted the Ethics Commission and other organizations and News outlets! I have told you in person that your accusations were False and to Stop telling people I did this!
Your actions are unwanted, unwelcome, and have become unbearable to me. As a result of your behavior, I have suffered in the following ways:
suffered “substantial damages, including emotional distress, harassment, personal humiliation and embarrassment.
— Substantial harm to my professional reputation –
— Substantial harm to my personal character -( I was uninvited to the wedding of a Macedonia Dispatcher over these untrue Rumors.)–
I demand that you cease and desist from this activity by the following deadline: Immediately. If you fail to cease and desist, I will be forced to take appropriate legal action against you and will seek all available damages and remedies.
