I probably would not have applied for the seat had I not asked the voters for permission, twice in the past, to represent them. Consent of the governed is very important to me. Now that I have the appointment, I will look at the next year and a half as an extended interview to continue representing the voters in the future.
I am honored to be back on the council dais and will do my best to represent my neighbors.
