I try and maintain being impartial in all political activity since becoming Vice President Of Nordonia Hills. News. So I write this opinion as Vic Milani, former Mayor of Northfield. I know a thing or two about financing cities and villages having done it for 12 years, mostly on a shoestring budget. I have studied the figures and FACTS!! Macedonia is on a financial respirator with the doctor performing CPR on your long term health. Your roads are crumbling, your property values are gong down, the Macedonia Recreation Center WILL BE A WHITE DINOSAUR ON RT. 82 IN 18 months.
Mayor Migliorini isn’t blowing smoke when he said Macedonia is in a crisis. IT IS! Issue #3 isn’t the utopia to fix all the problems. BUT IS A BEGINNING. Voting no will mean your income taxes go down to 1.75% in July. If you are struggling currently at 2%, what do you think will happen at 1.75%. Most opponents of issue #3 are also personally against Mayor Joe Migliorini. Some want his job, some have lost to him in court. These are personal vendettas, and not having the best interest of Macedonia in mind! Take the politics out the equation, and do what’s best for your property values, and your community. VOTE YES ON ISSUE #3. You’re paying the same tomorrow as you will today. BUT see immediate improvements to your crumbling roads, and maintain the Recreation Center. Nordonia Hills needs a strong Macedonia!
These are the opinions of Vic Milani, former Mayor of Northfield Village, and not necessary those of SpiderCat Marketing, parent company of NordoniaHills.News.
