To Whom It May Concern:
We are seeking information regarding an accident that occurred on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at approximately 9:00 AM on southbound Rt. 8 near the entrance ramp coming from southbound I-271 (south of Highland Rd. near Bob Evans restaurant), where there are 4 lanes and SR-8 and I-271 merge. A black Ford Fusion was on Rt. 8 heading south and was hit by a light silver/gray Nissan Altima (with New York license plates) that was coming from I-271 and failed to maintain the lane. The black Ford Fusion spun out. If you witnessed the accident and can offer any assistance, it would be much appreciated. A police report was made after the accident. Unfortunately, there are not any ODOT cameras at that particular place. You may contact 216-870-6023.
