New Repairs
State Route 8 in the City of Cuyahoga Falls
(Monday, May 15 – until further notice)
Beginning Monday, May 15, the SR 8 northbound and southbound exit ramps at Howe Ave. will have various nightly lane restrictions to lengthen the exit ramps at the SR 8 and Howe Ave. interchange. This work is the beginning of a $700,000 project to increase storage capacity at the SR 8 northbound and southbound ramps at Howe Ave. The entire project is scheduled to be completed by August 2017.
Ongoing Repairs
State Route 8 in the City of Cuyahoga Falls
(until further notice)
SR 8 between Howe Ave. and Graham Rd. has various daily and nightly lane restrictions for bridge repairs. These restrictions will occur between 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. This work is part of a $4.6 million project to resurface SR 8 between Howe Rd. and Graham Rd., SR 303 from east of Chittenden Rd. to Olde 8 and on SR 261 from just west of SR 8 to N. Main St. The project also includes miscellaneous bridge repairs. The entire project is scheduled to be complete by October 2017.
Interstate 271 in Northfield Center Township
(until further notice)
I-271 southbound one mile south of SR 8 has various daily lane restrictions for a slope repair. This work is part of a $1.8 million project to repair the slope on the southbound side of I-271 just north of Brandywine Rd. The entire project is scheduled to be completed by June 2017.
Interstate 271 in Richfield Township and the Village of Richfield
(until further notice)
I-271 between the Medina County line and Brecksville Rd. has various lane restrictions during non-peak hours for bridge painting. This work is part of a $1.9 million project to make bridge repairs to the Medina Line Rd., Southern Rd. and Everett Rd. bridges over I-271.
Interstate 271 in Richfield Village & Richfield Township
(until further notice)
I-271 from just north of the Medina County line to the Ohio Turnpike has various daily lane restrictions during non-peak travel times for resurfacing. This work is part of a $46.4 million project to reconstruct the pavement along I-271 from Broadview Rd. to the Ohio Turnpike. Then entire project is scheduled to be completed by late July 2017.
