Dear Editor,
I was very disheartened to read the insensitive and racists comments made by some in the Nordonia community concerning the need for stores to lock up products popular to people of color. Since when has stealing become a “black” issue. In viewing the looters on tv and in the newspapers I’ve noticed people of ALL cultures taking things that they didn’t pay for. Low morals, thieves, and even ignorance crosses all cultures and to suggest that this behavior is only a “black thing” speaks of the simple-minded thinking of a few culturally-biased narcissistic residents this community can do without. When folks say racism is not happening look around or look in the mirror. This is 2020 and people of color are still being called horrible names, getting the cops called on them for no reason, and spat on in their faces! When will this stop! When will racists individuals grow up! WHEN! Folks are tired now!
