Well the cat is out of the bag. Or in this case the cookie is out of the oven. Leslie Srodek-Johnson has won her episode of the Food Network’s Cookie Challenge. See details about how it all started and behind the scenes tidbits in our podcast here.
Even though you know she wins you should still watch the show to see what the challenges were and what was made. The show will air again on the Food Network on Sunday, Dec. 22 at 5 p.m.
Last night after it was revealed on the show that she won, she gave me these comments:
“I am just so touched by all the kind and supportive messages I am getting from all over the country. …From customers that moved away, old college friends, friends of friends and from strangers. I don’t think I will be able to sleep tonight. I am smiling sooooo much! I just hope everybody remembers that we are the cute LITTLE bakery in town… We would really appreciate your patience tomorrow… I think we may be busy!!! Lol!”
“I think I made tons of people happy cry tonight. Everyone is telling me they cried happy tears for me and my family.”
