What a day for fishing with the family. And what a day to learn how to do it the right way. The Macedonia Family Recreation Center held a free fishing clinic today. The clinic included lessons on casting a line, tying a knot, conservation, and the environment. Children 4-17 years of age showed up with parents and grand parents with enthusiasm.
Angela Manley, director of parks and recreation, said that 80 people signed up for the morning session and another 40 were scheduled for the afternoon session. She went on to say that this clinic was funded by two $500 grants from ODNR Ohio Department of Natural Resources http://ohiodnr.gov/grants
