Masks on Buses Lifted, Family First Night

From the Superintendent of Nordonia Hills City Schools,

Dear Nordonia Families,

Good morning. I have two items for you today:

  1. Effective February 25, 2022 CDC does not require the wearing of masks on buses or vans operated by public or private school systems, including early care and education/child care programs. Accordingly, effective immediately, the Nordonia Hills City School District is lifting the requirement that had been in place for transportation. Masks are still permitted, and we still encourage all to take necessary precautions to stay healthy.
  2. Tomorrow, February 28, is Nordonia’s 12th annual Family Always First Day. Our district has agreed to support families on this night with no homework, and no tests scheduled or projects/assignments due the following day. We have also agreed to hold no regular-season practices or rehearsals for students.  We hope you will take the evening to celebrate being a family. Family Always First Poster 2022

As always, thanks for your continued support of the Nordonia Schools, and Go Knights!

Sincerely,

Joe Clark, Ph.D.

Superintendent
