MLK Day Message/Mask Mandate

From the Superintendent of Nordonia Hills City Schools,

Dear Nordonia Families,

Good morning. I have two items today:

1. Please see my letter reflecting on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day and the work the district has done and continues to do to support his dream. MLK Day Letter 2022
2. Our COVID numbers have been dropping significantly the past week, after the huge surge we saw in late December and early January. I am going to extend the mask mandate for all schools through next week–a three-day week for students–to ensure that this trend continues. Assuming the trend continues, masking would return to highly recommended but optional starting January 24.
