Dear Nordonia Families,
Student and staff safety is our top priority. You may be aware of a nationwide message that has been spreading on the social media platform, Tik Tok. The trend, which many are calling “National Shoot up your school day,” is warning of potential violence at schools across the United States on Friday, December 17.
We have been in close contact with local law enforcement and, while there is no specific threat to Nordonia Schools, we will have additional police presence in our school buildings tomorrow.
Student and staff safety will continue to be our top priority. We urge everyone to report any safety concerns to your building principal or me. This is also a great learning opportunity to have discussions with your children about the responsible use of social media.
