Taken from a Macedonia Police Report
At 1958 hours I made a traffic stop on a vehicle as it pulled into the parking lot of a store on E. Aurora Rd. The car’s brake lights were stuck on.
I made contact with the driver as I advised him of the reason for the stop. The front seat passenger was shaking and said that he knew how to fix it. While talking with the driver I noticed an odor of marijuana coming from the car.
Two police officers arrived on the scene and the driver was asked to step out of the vehicle. He was searched and stood with one of the police officers. I asked the front seat passenger to step out. I searched him and located a clear jar with marijuana residue inside. I asked him about it and he said that it was for his pills. I asked him if it would smell of an odor of marijuana when I opened it and he said no. I opened the container and it smelled of marijuana. He later admitted that it was used to hold marijuana.
I asked the back seat passenger to exit the car. The individual was sitting on top of a large glass bong and stated that they knew that it was there and that was holding it for a friend.
Two of the individuals were released to their parents while the third passenger was charged with Possession of Marijuana Paraphernalia through Macedonia Mayor’s Court.
