Police were called to a local store on Sunday March 5th for a report of a female that had shoplifted merchandise from a different store (not the store she was found in).
The female was found wearing a pair of tights and a shirt (valued at $34.98), both items had store tags and security tags still attached. When asked about the clothing she stated she selected the merchandise and when she went to pay, the store would not accept a check. She was then unable to find her credit card. So she left her clothing in the fitting room that she wore into the store as collateral.
She was charge with receiving stolen property. The merchandise was returned to the store.
