Nordonia Athletics Weekly Update
Nordonia boys baseball has two exciting matchups on the horizon as the season begins to pick up momentum. The Knights are set to face University School Varsity Preppers on Saturday, March 28th, followed  by another matchup against Stow-Munroe Falls on March 31st. These early games will be a great test for the team as they look to build rhythm and confidence heading further into the season as well as girls varsity softball having lost to Hudson March 26th and have an upcoming game against North Royalton March 30th.
Track and field is also getting underway, with both the boys and girls teams already preparing for competition. Their first meet took place on Friday, March 27th at the Highland Hornets Invitational. This event marks the start of what should be a competitive and exciting season for Nordonia’s runners, jumpers, and throwers.
In boys tennis, the team is gearing up for their first match of the season against Mentor on Tuesday, March 31st. With practices underway, the Knights are looking to start strong and set the tone early in the season.
Boys varsity volleyball has already been busy, competing in several scrimmages and early games. Their first scrimmage took place against East Tech on March 7th, followed by another on March 11th. The team officially opened their season with a game on March 17th against Independence, then continued play on March 19th against Warren G. Harding, March 25th against Howland, and March 26th against Mentor. Looking ahead, they have an upcoming matchup against Western Reserve Academy on March 31st, as they continue to gain experience and build chemistry.
On the girls side, Nordonia varsity flag football is also preparing for action. The team has an upcoming game against Bedford, where they will look to showcase their hard work and determination early in the season.

As spring sports continue to ramp up, it’s clear that Nordonia athletes are putting in the effort across all programs. With multiple teams beginning competition and others already gaining valuable experience, this is an exciting time for Knights athletics.
