The newly formed Nordonia High School Boys Basketball Parents Club is hosting its inaugural Knight Time Madness event on Monday, Nov. 17 at 7 p.m. at Nordonia High School.
The community gathering will give fans a chance to meet players and coaches from the high school basketball teams while watching live play demonstrations. Attendees can also meet the cheer teams, participate in raffles and a silent auction, and purchase Nordonia Hoops merchandise and concessions.
Katie Poulin, a parent of three Nordonia student-athletes who participate in football, basketball, baseball and wrestling, helped organize the parents club and the kickoff event.
Funds raised through the event and ongoing sponsorship efforts will support equipment purchases, team apparel, meals for players, cheerleaders and coaches, and participation in training camps and summer tournaments.
The parents club is seeking community support through financial sponsorships, team contributor opportunities and in-kind donations including food, gift baskets and raffle items. Local businesses interested in supporting Nordonia student-athletes can reach out to learn about sponsorship opportunities.
The event is free and open to the public. Nordonia High School is located at 8006 South Bedford Road in Macedonia.
For sponsorship information or to donate items for the silent auction and raffles, contact the Nordonia High School Boys Basketball Parents Club through the school’s athletic department.
