Nordonia High School Boys Bowling at the Norton Panther Challenge

On December 3, 2023, the Nordonia High School Boys Bowling Team took part in the Norton Panther Challenge at Charger Lanes and finished in 11th place. Kyan Freyhauf was the top performer for Nordonia, scoring a total of 681 across three games (279, 202, and 200), which placed him 8th in the tournament and earned him a spot on the 2nd team all-tournament. 

Drew Kitzmiller was the second-best on the team with a total score of 536 (179, 180, 177), and Josh Hermann followed with a total of 519 (187, 172, 160). Justin Roberts contributed with a high score of 210 in one of his games.

The JV boys team also had the opportunity to showcase their skills in a varsity-level competition. On Saturday, November 2, they participated in the Bowlers Classic Choice tournament in Wickliffe. 

Alden Keniry led the JV team with a commendable 539 series, scoring 134, 198, and 207 in his games. Jackson Neal followed as the second-highest scorer with a series of 376, comprising games of 152, 123, and 101. Contributions from Kayden Ament and Brendan Anderson, who scored 143 and 140, respectively, further added to the team’s performance.
