From Writer to Author
It would be nice if book sales followed publication the way night follows day—without any effort on your part. However, whether you choose to self-publish or go with a publisher, the onus is on you to create interest in your book with the media, booksellers and readers. In short, if you don’t initiate the buzz about your book, no one else will, and your book will go nowhere fast. In “From Writer to Author,” award-winning author Nancy Christie shares her tips on how to start the buzz and keep it going from pre-publication stage to post-pub and beyond. The workshops draws on advice from authors and book marketing experts who contributed to her forthcoming book, Rut-Busting Book for Authors, due out Fall 2019. Tuesday, June 18, 6 p.m.
