Writer’s Guild of Nordonia Hills Writing group for aspiring writers Wednesdays, October 15, November 19, December 17, 6:30 pm Writers wanted! New writers and old hands welcome – fiction, nonfiction, and more. Discuss process, have your work critiqued, and give feedback in a fun, friendly environment. For adults.

Crockpot Cooking Tuesday, December 9, 6:30 p.m Discover how easy and delicious slow cooking can be! This program will share tips and recipes for making flavorful meals in your slow cooker with minimal effort. Registered Dietician Elizabeth Schweigert from Central State University Extension will show you how slow cooking is perfect for busy families or anyone who loves warm, comforting dishes. Chair Yoga Saturday, December 13, 11 a.m. Join us for an introduction to chair yoga, a seated session that combines breath and movement. Children’s Programs

Play Lab Wednesday, October 22, 10:30 a.m. Drop in for hands-on, open-ended, STEAM, and creative play experiences. Designed for children 2-5 years old with an adult caregiver, but all ages are welcome and celebrated. We will be exploring activities inspired by life on the farm. Play in mud, explore tractors, and farm dramatic play experiences while making new friends.

Baby Time Thursdays, October 23, November 13, November 20, 10:15 a.m. Build early literacy skills through songs, stories, rhymes, and movement. Intended for ages 0-2, but all ages are celebrated

Paws for Reading Wednesdays, November 5, December 3, 6:30 pm Mondays, October 27, November 24, December 22, 6:30 pm Practice your reading skills by reading aloud to our doggie pals. Bring a book from home or read one of ours! Not reading yet? Our dogs’ human pals will read to you. Children of all ages are welcome.

School Age Programs

Thrilling Thursdays Thursdays November 6, 4pm Join us after school at 4 pm for some fun activities. Register online, by phone, or in person November 6-Beaded Fall Corn-String some fall colored beads onto pipe cleaners to make a fall corn decoration.
