The Nordonia Hills Lions Club is bringing back its popular reverse raffle for an 18th year. The event takes place Saturday, Nov. 21, at Twinhaven Reception Hall in Twinsburg. One ticket holder will take home a $2,500 grand prize.
Organizers are capping sales at 200 tickets, so residents who want a seat are encouraged to reserve early.
Event Schedule
Twinhaven Reception Hall is located at 10439 Ravenna Road in Twinsburg. The evening is set up in three parts:
- 6 p.m. Cocktails and sideboards
- 7:30 p.m. Buffet dinner
- 8:30 p.m. Raffle
Guests can expect a special raffle, plenty of sideboards, a buffet dinner and an open bar throughout the night.
Ticket Prices
Two ticket packages are available. A $120 ticket includes two meals and one raffle ticket. A $75 ticket includes one meal and one raffle ticket.
Extra main board tickets can be purchased for $30 each. Absentee tickets are also available for $30 for those who cannot attend the event. Call one of the contacts below for details on absentee tickets.
How a Reverse Raffle Works
In a reverse raffle, ticket numbers are typically drawn and eliminated one at a time. Instead of the first number winning, the last ticket left standing claims the grand prize. The format keeps the room engaged all evening as the field narrows.
