Earlier this month Nordonia senior student-athletes Nick Heiser & Tommy Vetrovsky signed letters of intent to continue their academic and athletic careers.
Heiser, a three year baseball letterman, will continue playing at Walsh University where he will be reunited on the Walsh baseball team with his brother Daniel Heiser, a 2017 Nordonia graduate.
Vetrovsky, a shot & discus thrower on the Nordonia Track & Field team, will continue throwing at Ohio Northern University next year.
Congratulations to both Nick & Tommy on their college choices!
You may remember Nick’s brother Daniel, a 2017 Nordonia High School graduate. He is now a junior at Walsh. Parents Dave and Jillian Heiser, baseball Coach Drew Hoisington and members of the baseball team showed up to cheer him on: Michael Hamrick, Zack Schlund, Ryan Short, Tyler Juriga, Matt Yokierl, Justin Lewis, Lenny Bunsey, Spencer Stehlik and Aiden McFerren.
Track coach Scott Barwidi and Tommy’s family were on hand to see him sign as well.
