High School CCP (College Credit Plus) Student Mikayla Bell made the Kent State Spring 2020 Dean’s List. Mikayla, adopted from China, was nonverbal when she was young and overcame many difficulties and worked very hard to be where she is now. She is an advocate for mental health, including placing signs around the school with positive affirmations for students to “Take What You Need” for Mental Health Awareness Week. She is 17 and will be a Senior this year at Nordonia.
