From the Superintendent of Nordonia Hills City Schools,
Dear Nordonia Families,
If your children ride the bus, you are undoubtedly aware of the route cancellations that have been occurring over the past few weeks. On behalf of the Nordonia Hills City School District, I apologize for the disruption to service and the inconvenience these cancellations are causing families.
Please see the attached letters from Petermann Bus, the District’s transportation provider. One tells of the reasons behind the struggle and what they are doing to improve the service level. The other is a recruitment letter for bus drivers. The bus driver shortage nationwide is causing huge disruptions to schools, and we are in dire need of people who want to join the force. Please consider it yourself and share with all you know looking for a new career.
