Nordonia Varsity Knights fell 4-2 to Padua Franciscan Varsity Bruins on Monday despite out-hitting them 10 to six. Andrew McClelland led Nordonia Varsity Knights with three hits.
A single by Dominik Canzoni on an 0-2 count put Nordonia Varsity Knights on the board in the top of the first.
Padua Franciscan Varsity Bruins scored on a wild pitch, which helped Padua Franciscan Varsity Bruins tie the game at one in the bottom of the second.
A single by Tyler Reville gave Nordonia Varsity Knights the lead, 2-1, in the top of the fifth.
