We, in the Township, have been working hard to maintain the safety and health of our staff. As we get closer to summer, with the amount of road work and ditching that needs to be completed, we will be phasing in changes to how the Service Department staff are currently doing their projects (including, for instance, working in pairs for projects that cannot safely be completed by a single worker). Staff will continue to adhere to social distancing requirements and utilize necessary personal protective equipment (PPE), such as masks and gloves, particularly when working in pairs or as a group. In the interest of keeping both staff and residents safe, we ask, for the time being, that residents completely refrain from engaging in close contact with staff when they are completing work in the community.
